Yoga and Breathwork
Yoga, mindfulness, and breathwork are proven to support building attention skills and resilience. They can be helpful tools to ground, calm, or energize us from inside. Building these tools can help you as you heal from your injury. We often include education and practice with these tools in treatment sessions to support recovery from acquired brain injury, but they can be helpful for everyone!
Community Breathwork Classes
Breathing sounds simple, but it can be a powerful tool for change in our bodies—especially our brains!
Blossom Neuro’s weekly Community Breathwork Classes are composed of a mixture of breath and gentle movement practices. Classes are designed so you can participate at a level that is comfortable for you. All practices can be done sitting down. Classes are held via Zoom and are free and open to anyone!
Jill is a certified yoga teacher and a coherent breathing instructor, certified through Breath-Body-Mind Foundation. (Coherent breathing is a specific type of breath work, which can help promote well-being, increase resilience, and create calm alertness.)
